Looking for a female vocalist

Hany has decided NOT TO BE with us. She will be replacing till end of this month.

So... the search is ON AGAIN for a female vocalist.

Our criteria :-

1. Can sing and dance.
2. Willing to learn.
3. Good attitude.
4. Not stubborn.
5. Not a superstar.
6. Malay or Chinese or Indian.
7. Willing to commit not only during working hours, but also come for practices scheduled by the band.
8. Full-time vocalist.
9. Fresh newcomer are welcome.
10. Married or Single.

NEW ADDITION

We thought of using her as a replacement till we found a permanent one.

And she told us that she can only help doing replacement till end of the month only.

And last night, she did her replacement job with B'Tru Band and i guess she fell in love with us and we all decided to keep her.

She is HANI!

So frens and fans and family, let's all welcome Hani to the group! We hope u'll enjoy being with us as much as we enjoyed being with you!!!

p/s - FYI, we've known her since 3 years ago when she was working at Istana Hotel.

NUR ANUAR

We would like to inform that Nur Anuar, female vocalists of B'Tru Band has finally decided to leave the band due to her FAILURE to commit 100% to the band.

It's her own decision, as she chose to work in a legal firm during the day.

BTW, Btru Band would like to wish Nur all the best in her chosen career.

The remaining band members are James & Nina, with Wan & Ady.

Who will replaced Nur?

ANNOUNCEMENT OF DEATH

JAMES SUMILANG, band leader is sad to report the death of his father LUCRECIO SUMILANG, who died on November 7, 2009, after 24 hours of battle in ICU. He was 83 years old. He will be sorely missed by friends and family.

James will be flying back to the Philippines on Monday 9th November and will be coming back the following day!

B'Tru band will still be performing at Crossroads Lounge as usual, but James will be replaced by another male vocalist.

HEY WE'RE BACK!

SORRY FOR DELETING THE BLOG A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO!!!

Reasons for deleting the blog?

1. Felt sick with the changing band members...
2. Looking for new band members....
3. Found new band members after 2 weeks searching since our previous band member left in August 2009.
4. The new band members are Wan on keyboards, Ady - guitarist and Nur (vocalist).
5. After rushing practicing for Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur's contract in October, we were struggling at the beginning, but now, after working together since August and September, we've got our groove back...
6. Please please please forgive James & Me for everything!

Well now, since we are back on the blogspot, we'd like to inform you that WE ARE NOW BACK PERFORMING AT CROSSROADS LOUNGE CONCORDE HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR, FROM OCTOBER 2009 ONWARDS.

Performing in Crossroads Lounge, Concord Hotel

Due to the delay of the arrival of the band from Philippines in Concorde Hotel, we get the chance to (replace) perform at Crossroads Lounge Concord Hotel for 3 days, starting last Wednesday 5th August till 7th August 2009 (Friday).

The response from the crowd were awesome.

We performed our hearts out (as usual) and we had soooo much fun for the short 3 nights (so sad Seri couldn't perform with us on Friday cos she was sick and we told her to quarantine herself and replaced by INTAN)....

And the great news is that THE MANAGEMENT HAS DECIDED TO GIVE US CONTRACT TO PERFORM AT CROSSROADS LOUNGE IN OCTOBER 2009 TILL END DECEMBER 2009.

SO TO ALL KL & PJ PEOPLE, SEE YOU AT CONCORDE IN OCTOBER!!!
