B'Tru band is back to 4 pc band. 

Back to our original lineup, James, Nina and Wan with additional new member, Inaz.

We've known Inaz for such a long time that we decided to offer her to join the band. She may be new with the band but i believe with her more than 10 years experience, she'll blend in with us very well.

We're back to perform in Lakeview Club Subang Jaya for the 3rd time. We've started our contract since the 1st of November 2012 till end of January 2013. 

For those of you who missed watching us when we left KL and worked in Genting, this is the time to catch up with us.

Will be performing at Patio Bar, First World Hotel, Genting Highlands as usual from 9:30pm onwards with new guitarist Eky from JB. Our previous guitarist Edi, as usual were kicked out from the band because of attendance problem.

The rest of the band members remains the same!

Alhamdulillah syukur.

Thanking God and thanking the management of Patio Bar & Lounge, First World Hotel, Genting Highlands for EXTENDING our CONTRACT again for another 3 months (optional 3 months).

It has been a superb time working at Patio for the past 6 months (from August 2011) and we hope to continue delivering our best of the bestest ever to all the lovely guests of the bar for the next 3months.

Thank you again to the bosses who also non-stop supporting the band too! ;-D

Band members update:

Edi

our previous guitarist has joined the band again for the 3rd time since 15th January 2012, replacing Hafiz who left the band with a LAST MINUTE notice and since then we have lost contact with him.

Lorraine

is also our previous band mates back in 2004 when she last joined us, has been back again from 1st March 2012 replacing Hani who finished her 6 months stint with us and gonna settle down soon. The band wishes hani congratulations and all the best in your future undertakings.

B'TRU Band not BEAT THRU

We successfully finished our 6 months stint at Crossroads Lounge, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur on the 31st July 2011. 

And August 2011 is fasting month and we all decided not to take any contract but instead we played 4 nights gig at IP MAN BAR, TAMAN TUN DR.ISMAIL. We only perform from Wednesday to Saturday. Our last night performing there will be on 27 August 2011 (Saturday).

Owh ya, we also changed one of our band members (again)... this time we'd like to welcome Jhazmine De Silva. She's the youngest in the band and also she hails from Philippines. For those who doesn't know her, she is married to Allan Hugh De Silva, one of the manager working at Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur.... 

With the new member, from 30 AUGUST 2011 onwards, B'TRU BAND will be performing at PATIO, FIRST WORLD HOTEL, GENTING HIGHLANDS.

It is also the 1st day of HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI, so we'd like to take this opportunity to wish our good friends and haters followers and also all our families, SELAMAT MENYAMBUT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI, MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN. Since we'll be working on the 1st day of Hari Raya, hopefully that y'all remember us when y'all makan ketupat and rendang and all the kuih kuih raya! Huhuhu...

another story....

Some of you who doesn't know the history of the band, the word B'TRU comes from BREAKTHRU. We were previously known as BREAKTHRU when we were all FILIPINO band (except Nina) from the year 2000 till 2004. We shorten it to B'TRU when we changed our band members to all local MALAYSIANs (except James).

SO PLEASE REMEMBER, we are B'TRU not BEAT THRU.

Its just the same if your name is NINA but i call you NINJA TURTLE wtf!

we ALL know that the Earth is sick and we have to do whatever we can to help.

Why not we start with a very simple thing to do.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

i know i know it's already the 24th day of 2011 today, but i guess it's better to wish late than never right?

B'Tru Band would like to wish all our fans and friends and family a very happy new year. Hopefully this year will bring you happiness, success and filled with Peace,Hope & Togetherness of your Family & Friends.

Here's a little update of B'Tru Band.

LAKE VIEW CLUB

We're still performing at Lake View Club Subang Jaya till the end of January 2011. We would love to say thank you to the management for having us performing for 6 months. Also thank you to the staffs for taking care of our food and beverage. And not forgetting to the regulars and friends who kept supporting the club and the band. We hope our friendship doesn't end here.

BELLA

Bella has decided to continue her studies and her last day performance with the band was on the NEW YEAR'S EVE. We would like to say thanks to Bella for staying with the band since mid June 2010. Let's all pray for her success with her future undertakings.

HANY

Bella has been replaced by Hany, an experienced singer since the 1st of January 2011.

NINA

Nina has given birth to a lovely baby girl on the 8th of December 2010. Both baby and mother are healthy. Nina is expected to join the group again in February 2011.

CONCORDE KUALA LUMPUR

The band will start at Crossroads Lounge, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur on the 1st of February 2011. The line up this time will be 3 girls on vocals (Nina, Maricel & Hany) and 2 boys (James on vocals and Wan on keyboard). We excited to meet our friends in concorde hotel again. And hopefully friends from Lake View Club can/will drop by and party with us!!!

BIXBY BISTRO & PUB, LAKE VIEW CLUB, SUBANG JAYA

We're currently performing at Bixby Pub in Lake View Club Subang Jaya (located in between Grand Dorsett Hotel & Holiday Villa Subang). 

We'd like to thank all the regulars of Bixby for keep supporting the pub and the band. 

With Baby, our latest newest addition member, we hope we can make the place more happening.

In the meantime, we'd like to wish all our MUSLIM FRIENDS, HAPPY RAMADHAN AL-MUBARAK.
